Nearly every second, a truckload of textiles goes to waste. Less than 1% of polyester clothing is recycled. Four founders met at RWTH Aachen between 2021 and 2022 to close this gap.

As a deep-tech spin-off backed by leading German Deep Tech & Climate VCs, ReSolution is developing an award-winning chemical recycling technology for polyester-containing textile waste. By producing zero chemical salt waste and using significantly fewer chemicals and water, our process is economically viable.

In June 2026, our team has commissioned a semi-industrial plant — with a capacity to recycle over 600 tonnes of textile waste per year — as we prepare our first commercial facility. Our mission is to build a European recycling champion that meets the megatonne PET demand and scales circular raw materials globally.
